This notice describes how we collect and handle biometric information from the body scan, as required by state biometric privacy laws.
When you take a body scan, we collect the photos and derive body measurements and a body/facial template used to compute your physique score.
Solely to calculate and display your scores and track your progress over time. We never use it to identify you and never for advertising — for no other purpose.
We collect this only after you give separate, informed, written consent on the scan consent screen. You are not required to use the body scan — the rest of the app works without it.
The body scan is limited to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect biometric information from anyone under 18.
We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from your biometric information, and we do not disclose it except to providers who run the scan for us under contract, or when required by law.
We keep your body-scan photos only long enough to generate your scores, then delete the original images from our processing pipeline. The numeric results (your scores and estimated measurements) are kept in your account until you delete them or your account, and in no case longer than 3 years after your last activity — whichever comes first — after which they are permanently destroyed.
You can withdraw consent and delete your scan and biometric data at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data. Deleting your account destroys it as well.
